5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run
WHERE: Starts at Clark Vitt Park in Union, Missouri. E-mail tee.time4me@yahoo.com for entire route information.
WHEN: Saturday May 12th, 8:00 a.m.
Awards for the 5K Run include Men's and Women's First Overall plus 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age division.
KIDS FUN RUN: Ages 8 and under. A half mile fun run on the traile of the lake will be held shortly after the race. Everyone participating will receive an award.
Come check out our lunch auction this December! We will have lots of items to auction off and we'll also be collecting old or broken gold chains & jewelry.
REFRESHMENTS: Water along the route and refreshments available at the finish line.
REGISTRATION: Mail/Give to Chris & Tayra Douglas at 243 Ridge Run Drive, Washington, MO 63090. For questions call Amber Strickland at 636-667-1811. Race Day registration accepted from 7:15-7:45 a.m. on May 12th. (e-mail me for a registration form ctdouglas@ymail.com)
RUN / WALK FEES: $20 for runners / walkers age 12 and older. $10 for children under 12 in the 5K. The kid's Fun Run will be $5.00 per child. (additonal $5 if you want a t-shirt for your child in the Fun Run)
Register before May 1st to recieve your race t-shirt. T-SHIRTS ARE NOT INCLUDED FOR REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER MAY 1ST, 2012
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS YEAR WILL GO TO THE STRICKLAND FAMILY (FOR ADOPTING CHLOE FROM ETHOPIA) AND THE DOUGLAS FAMILY (FOR ADOPTING OWEN, WYATT AND ARIANNA FROM GHANA.)
